The SB sensor is applied directly to the window from the inside and is ready to go immediately thanks to true plug-and-play technology: just connect the power, and the measurement begins. Its simple installation makes it ideal for flexible applications ranging from a few hours to four weeks, or as a permanent solution in combination with a local evaluation unit.

Thanks to its clever positioning, light reflections are eliminated, ensuring that precise, stable, and reliable data is collected at all times. This makes it easy to track foot traffic in front of storefronts or on gas station forecourts and turn that data into valuable insights.

Which SB options are available?

The SB series is available in two versions:

SB-160 including 160‑Grad‑FOV
SB-120 including 120‑Grad‑FOV

Both models are based on the same design and follow the same basic technical principle.

Infrastructure needed?

The system is powered by a 5V/2.4A power supply (PS1). During installation, the housing is attached (without leaving any residue) to the cleaned window.

What external factors can affect data quality?

The following factors can lead to reduced data quality: installation height outside the specified range, bright backlighting, dust or heavy soiling, or very low light levels.

Can the device be used to collect data in real time?

In general, a local processing unit can be installed with the sensor to collect data in real time. The selection of the processing unit depends on the number of data points and the processing frequency needed. Feel free to contact us for advice!
