The right to privacy applies (in Europe) to all individuals. Fortunately, because we also value this fundamental right highly! Our ambition is therefore never to be a simple legal solution for optical data collection, but to protect people's privacy - just like a Venetian Bauta-mask did. Therefore, we have taken up the challenge and developed our own "privacy-by-design" sensor as a young company. We first thinks about people's desires & needs and then about their information. With this, we offer the technical solution to the dilemma of "innovation vs. data protection".

The founding partners behind BAUTA consist of Dr. Joachim Diepstraten, who holds a doctorate in computer science and has many years of professional experience in the field of machine image recognition, and Daniel Nikola M.Sc., who has in-depth experience in project management and technology transfer.
